A better day

Today was a much better day, food wise, and I did get a good amount of exercise. So I'm happy with that. Funny how our appetite's can chance from day to day....

I over heard a bit of the Joy Luck Club on NBC...She said that a good way to keep yourself motivated was to go buy some new clothes, but first pick out the size you use to wear then pick the size you are now and go in the dressing room and first try on the old size then the new.....that should give you a big boost...sounds like a great idea....

Then she talked about positive self talk, which I have talked about a lot and I do believe in it strongly....She suggested to start each morning telling your self how good you are doing and how far you have come, then remind yourself why your doing it for health or wedding or what ever.....she also suggested you keep a list of the reason why you want and need to loose weight and read it often to reinforce why your doing what your doing....
these are all good ideas, and I'm going to try that clothes thing this week end when I go buy a new Easter outfit....only thing is where I shop now, they don't have as big as size as I use to wear.

Well that's it for me. I'm going to get in my jammies early tonight and go watch American Idol and snuggle with Gary.....he looks like he can use a bit of snuggle
