So whats it going to take....

Thursday, April 08, 2010

I have been able to lose weight in the past and even though I wasn't working a full time job, I didn't need to devote my entire day to losing weight, so why now that I'm working 40 hours on 3rd can't I do it. I know a great deal of my problem is my job. Because of that I need to spend more time at home being active. which is hard since of all my other duties but no excuses... right??? eat right and move more... simple enough in fact in about a month and half I lost 14lbs and I was working this shift.... Today (I guess now it would be yesterday) I went into a Catherines, and I was trying 3+4x shirts!!!! and they were fitting me!! okay so some of them were big in the shoulders but the 2x's (22/24) were almost too tight in the tummy and butt. yes I said butt because my butt is almost up the middle of my back..

So I ask myself whats it going to take for me to take weight loss serious. I know my biggest hold back is lack of a social life... I feel like my life has stopped. I dont see any point in losing weight. I don't have any body to celebrate my success with. Or anybody to call and say I can't stop these cravings.... Oh sure I have this site... but I only get on it at work. and then there isn't anybody "Right" here with me... I have written plenty of times about why I can't reward myself and all the other things everybody looks forward to isn't working for me so I don't need to beat a dead horse.... Just wondering how I can get the "this is it , no looking back" moment. I fear my lack of social outtings and not having a circle of friends will have me 200+ more than my ideal weight way too soon...

Don't beat yourself up. You can do this but take it one day at a time.
