Celebrity Fit Club - works for me.

Friday, April 09, 2010

As I was home yesterday with a sick son, I had a lot of down time, so I tuned into a Celebrity Fit Club marathon! Here's my opinion.
First: I don't know what that Nicole Eggert was doing there. I saw her and thought, (I tuned in halfway through the series) "Wow, there's a success!", but it turns out she hadn't lost ANY weight! The woman is 3 inches taller than I am and wants her goal to be 20 pounds skinnier than my goal, which I believe is more realistic. Hollywood people are nuts! She looked great! (bit of a boozer though, but I should talk!)
Second, you could tell the stars who were there for money and the ones who were there for self improvement. With all the tools at there disposal, some stars (?!) just could not stop complaining! I mean, really, with Harvey, looking so good, why wouldn't you want to work out!
Lastly, I found this show to be inspiring, because if it is tricky for these famous people, with their chefs and club memberships to lose even a pound, I most certainly can do this with less tools, but a better attitude!
Attitude is everything!

I find it good to see that "celebrities" such as are shown on CFC (and ya gotta admit that none of them come close to being "A-listers") put on their proverbial pants the same way as us "Jane & John Smiths" - including dealing with weight and fitness issues!

Maybe it's just me - but it seemed that Harvey was not quite so intense and "in your face" as I've seen him in previous seasons.....
