Panera Bread will make you fat!

Quick quiz: What is lower in calories? The half chicken sandwich on artisan French bread or McDonald's grilled chicken club sandwich? Would you be surprised to discover that the Panera choice is about the same in calories but 9 grams gram higher in fat, 1 gram higher in saturated fat! I was sure surprised.
See, a few years ago I lost a lot of weight (45lbs). I was walkin' around in my size 4 jeans and really careful about my calories. I thought! Occasionally, I'd meet my friend for lunch at Panera. Trying to be good, I stayed away from mayo and meats. My choice was the Portobello Mozzarella with an apple on the side. I know cheese is high in fat, but I felt this was a decent splurge without going crazy! After about 6 months of once a week lunches, I saw weight creeping back on. After reviewing my food logs, I decided to research that so called healthy option.

I saw that my favorite lunch was ALL my daily calories! I have not been back to Panera since. I invented a portobello sandwich with 1/4 that amount of calories and tastes the same!
If you had a friend tell you she eats at Burger King every day, you'd say, "Oh, that's not healthy, you should go elsewhere." , but if she said she eats at Panera everyday, you'd say, "Lucky, wish I could afford that!"
Well, your Burger King friend has more low cal choices than your Panera friend!
