I hate to move my weight tracker backwards, My new first step!

Monday, April 19, 2010

I'm setting my weight tracker back today. :( I have gained back 15 pounds and I am going forward, not backwards, from this day on. Just those fifteen pounds more have made my clothes sooooooo tight and uncomfortable. I felt so great when I had to change sizes because I had lost weight. It kills me that I have to move back up a size I am hoping I lose those pounds again quickly. Many thanks from the sparkpeople who have gained back and shared their feelings of the same guilt and difficulty in getting back on track and into the spark spirit that helps to motivate us. I allowed myself a million excuses why I was not sticking with my diet and I avoiding the "scale." First it was a couple of pounds I had gained back, then 5, 8, and so on. No more excuses! I want to get back into those clothes and keep going lower and lower no matter how long it takes. . I'm okay with slow and steady and on course.

I did that last February, I was in onderland and then gained 22 pounds in 2 months. I have gained 2 pounds again but I know that it is temporary, I am going forward, one day at a time.

Good attitude! I'm glad you're not letting this stop you in your quest for a lower weight. I lost and regained lbs over the winter - various reasons, mostly just excuses - and while I've been doing better lately, my scale isn't moving downward either! emoticon

But I know that if I keep working at it (as I see you plan to do also), I'll get down to my goal weight....just not quite as soon as SP first told me I would.

Have a super great day! emoticon

Good for you !! Don't view this as defeat, only a temporary set-back. Let's just keep on keeping on. Have a great day!
