Made it!

Josh called from the airport--he landed. Which means that I'm off solo duty with the kids.

I'm really proud of what I accomplished in his absence--it's been a learning experience that the fears I had from the past (staying at home with two kids) aren't valid any more since they've grown up. It's very liberating, this realization. I'm delighted.

Best of all, not one binge. Except I did eat a chicken nugget (it was a new kind and I wanted to taste it to see if it was any good) and a yogurt (Yoplait Red Velvet Cake--eh, not so good) when I wasn't particularly hungry. That was the worse thing I did!!!

I really feel I've got a handle on this emotional eating thing and that's mighty liberating as well.

You really can't beat yourself up over a yogurt and nugget! (glad to know the flavor is no biggie). You are doing a great job! Keep it up and we will be back causing trouble before you know it!
