Struggles

Tuesday, May 04, 2010

I have had a problem.
It happened yesterday and again today......Also last month one day...
I'm feeling great, everything is going fine, I'm full of energy,, then wham, it feels like something hit me over the head, not a head ache. but I get so tired I need to sit down, not week really just a wave of tiredness.. The first time it happened I thought I must be hungry or that I was not eating enough , but yesterday it happened after I had eating my mid morning snack...today it happened about 1.30 that's an hour after lunch.....
I don't understand what it can be.....I'm eating regular and not really over doing my exercise. I feel better in about 5-10 minutes after I sit down....
Any one have any idea..
I go for my yearly check up next month on the 11th.....
wondering what I should do differently
I drink plenty of water, and eat often 6-7 times a day, my blood pressure does run low and maybe that's it..the doctor did ask me last year if I ever feel weak, but this is not really feeling weak, it's a tired feeling...

well that is my struggle for now any ideas would be appreciated.

Have a healthy and happy day

Kitt

Anemia possibly? Otherwise, I agree with everyone else, but still wanted to comment anyway and tell you that you're in my prayers.

I like Mary and HappySoul response to this
I personally think you are doing too much and not taking time for you ..in that you need down time too.. Your body needs rest breaks ..try it through out the day.
sit quietly or lie quietly for at least 10 min.... and think of nothing --put on some mellow sounds or nature sounds to help you..

Your blood sugar could have dropped, be sure they check for diabetes. Also your blood pressure goes to low and you can go down.

I personally would up the appointment

    Kitt two ideas

    Potassium -- have it checked

    Are you eating enough protein?

Do tell your Dr. about this when you go for
    your check up.

I have no idea, Kitt. I would definitely let the dr. know what's going on. Take care.

There are a lot of things it could be, Kitt -- blood pressure, blood sugar, electrolytes, cardiac issue (irregular beat or beating too fast)...and perhaps any number of other things.

If it happens again or if you're concerned, you might talk with your doctor's office and see if you need to move your appointment up. It wouldn't hurt to ask them.

I hope it doesn't happen again...but if it does, call your doctor!

Sorry but I have no idea what it could be. My experience with low blood pressure is not tiredness or weakness, it is dizzyness. It is good you see your doctor soon. If the problem escalates, you may want to try to see the doctor sooner.

It sounds like you have considered all the same things I would think of. I don't have other suggestions, but hope you find out what is the problem. Are you eating some carb and protein both in your meals/snacks?
