Saturday morning....and all is well!

I already lost a couple of cruise pounds I I don't think they were actual weight-gain pounds..more like...too much fun Back to work on save up for the next time!

I'm still searching for some interesting exercises to keep me motivated. I don't have room for equipment. My equipment includes resistance bands, a mat that I can roll up an put away, a set of 2-pound dumb bells, a set of 5-pound dumb bells and flexible bands. I'm still using my DVD's I have, Sparkpeople, and Exercise TV (on Demand). Today I'm planning on going for a long walk by hubby. I can go farther and faster on my own. It's going to be a beautiful day for it! We'll walk the dogs later when it's cooler.

My in laws had their pool removed a few weeks ago. I'm stopping there this morning to see it. My father in law is putting his garden there in it's's closer to their house..easier for him to get to. I'll be planting that for him once it's ready. I hope this year is better garden year...last year was a rough year in our area. I love home-grown produce!!!

Using the pool area for a garden sounds great! I'm envisioning that the pool smothered all grasses for a few years, so the veggies will get a great start!

Having grown up with a pool in my backyard, outside ones are a lot of work, at least if you are determined to keep it pristine. My mom had me outside doing pool cleaning chores for 1-2 hours each morning. The convenience of lap swims was delightful, tho.

Wow! It is a toss up whether a pool or fresh veggies is the best
I've always wished for a pool. I am going to try container gardening this year. Glad you got to go on a cruise. I would bet it was so fun.
