Hanging on!

Well I have not lost any but I have not gained any either. I no longer jump on my scale everyday and then feel depressed when I am up a pound or two. I guess it is not good to quit dieting but I have anguished over my weight for years. Yes I still am 35 pounds over what they say I should be for my height, but constantly worrying about the scale is no way to live. As far as I know, I'm in good health, at least I feel great and I do keep moving, with cleaning for my clients homes. I love my job and find satisfaction when a home is all cleaned when I leave it. So maybe I won't ever be trim, slim and sexy but hey I am 60 and still going strong. Kitty emoticon

    I also quit thinking of this as a diet it is a healthy way to live and eat! I love the sparkfriends and will probably be here till i die! If i lose ok if i don't ok at least i am in control of my eating the first time in my life! Don't give up you can do this! I only get weighted once a month but i try for 75 sparkpoints and track my food drink 8 glasses of water! If i can help let me know! emoticon

    The important thing here is that you have GOOD health! You have physically challenging work and you are able to complete it. Functional fitness I think they call it...

    Don't let Insurance Co BMI's control your self image. If you are happy with how you can function, happy with how you look and feel and the doctor isn't prescribing burial insurance you are living a healthier life than when you started. Keep on keeping us excited and your clients happy and clean.

    I hear ya! I would encourage you not to give up and to try to continue to eat healthier and continue moving at work. I don't think of what I have done as dieting. I am living, eating, and exercising to be healthy. If that includes losing inches or pounds then so be it; and if not, at least I am living a healthy lifestyle. Stay away from the scale and just concentrate on good food, portion control, and exercise.
