Savoring

Today on Day 23 of the 100 day of weight loss (book by Linda Spangle) She talks about savoring your food. She talks about eating slow, taking that one piece of chocolate , taking your time, unwrap it slowly, making that 8 grams of dove chocolate last as long as possible, close your eyes are it melts in your mouth, taste each morsel as if it was your last.....
I have done this many of times, I take that 8 gram piece and cut it in to 6 pieces and take at least 30 minutes to finish it....enjoying each bit......

As I re read today's page I thought I should be doing this with everything in my life....I should savory every moment, every adventure, while I'm walking at the park or mall or where ever, savory the moment...savoring should not be just for food......I need to savor my time I spend with family and friends....drink in each special moment as it's my last .....because the truth is it could be......
I'm going to work on letting go of the past and savor what I have right now...stop worrying about tomorrow or next week or next month.....
Take time and really see all the wonderment I have around me.....I have been blessed with a strong mind and body, I have regained my health and my self esteem and its about time I get out of my box and enjoy each precious moment while I still can.....

So less time on the computer, less time worrying about everything, and more time savoring the world and people around me.....
