"Running Wild" Month 1

Tuesday, June 01, 2010

I used to run so much everyday but one day I just stopped running for over 6 months I didn't run. But I started again today and I can't wait to see where I go from this day forward I plan to run at least 3 days a week. But during this summer I will run for 80 days straight and then when school starts I will run 3 days a week. When I ran this morning it felt amazing I loved it I smiled the whole time cause my body knew it was good for me. I wanted to run 16 blocks but I could only due 8 because I quit on myself for 6 months but I will gradually get back up to 16 blocks. If you have any trouble about how to start running or to continue then please don't hesitate to ask me thanks for reading my blog and have a sparktastic day. emoticon

Wear what comfy to and wear good shoes with low impact on them.
Don't run like 5 miles at one time run for a couple mintues then walk a couple with doing this you will get used to running on the gravel and it wont hurt and it will be normal once again. Good Luck!

At 47 and a good 60+ pounds overweight, for some reason I discovered the joys of running. Started a program called "Couch to 5K" with my daughter and on 5/29 I ran my first 5K! Finished dead last BUT I finished!

I believe there are people who are born to be runners. It's in the soul and in the blood. I know it has taken root in mine and my daughters soul!

So good for you; good for us. I hope you're still running today!!
