The Past Week

Has been INSANE. :) Seriously, though. I haven't been in the gym since Tuesday morning that we left for Vegas. I am disappointed in myself, but at the same time trying to look at it realistically. I was in Vegas... I was sleeping in til 11 and staying out til 6 in the morning, not exactly the environment I would expect myself to work out too hard in. Blah.. But, the good news is that I walked constantly, went swimming and dancing, all that fun stuff. I did indulge each night in limitless booze at the casino while playing dollar black jack, though. But still, I look at it as a once in a lifetime event (hopefully I will return, just not sure when... and don't think I'll party as hard..), so I am glad that I didn't hold back.
Also, something that made me really really happy, I felt amazing with myself. I wore my bikini with pride, as well as my little sundresses and evening attire. I looked HOT. And even though I wasn't doing that great food and drink wise, it didnt make me get down on myself. That has been a major issue throughout this journey. So I allowed myself some room to live it up, and I still looked in the mirror and saw an amazing beautiful woman.
I do have to admit, not working out really killed my mood this weekend. That and being totally drained from Vegas but still having to move in the heat. :( I was mean with my boyfriend. It was unnecessary. I haven't made it to the gym as of yet this week, but finishing moving and cleaning yesterday had me sweating my butt off for a few hours, so I'll take it. After my evening commitment at 8 tonight, I might hit the gym. But I also have homework due at midnight. Ahhh!
Excited for Bonnaroo next weekend, woot woot! That will be a much more relaxing vacation. I will hold myself to eating a little better while there since we are taking a lot of our own food. I also wont be drinking that much for fear of over heating. I will be walking tons I imagine. Rocking a bikini, cotton skirt, and rain boots if necessary. It'll be hot! :) Once I get back I am doing a 12 week makeover work out I found in women's fitness RX. I like that it has so much weight lifting but I can incorporate my own cardio. I'm excited pretty much. :)
