I did not sleep well last night....I ate a Lara bar for my snack and I guess the dates got me hyper, they do have a lot of natural sugar..for those who don't know the Lara Bars are a great bar that has dates and nuts in them...they are so good but high in calories, about 200-210 per bar, but not a lot of additives or junk in them...If you have not tried them before, they are so good and the mens health mag. Recognise's them as the best bar around because they are not full of junk stuff and all natural, the pecan pie is my favorite, the cherry pie is pretty good too.

any way I did not fall a sleep until after I sure was tired this morning and crabby...all day I have been dragging, I got some exercise in but not what I like too....I did manage a walk at lunch but it was not very long, I did some treadmill walking when I got home but once again not real fast or long, and I'm going to call it quits for today, hope I sleep better tonight and have a big day tomorrow..Friday I usually do my regular workout, and then walk the treadmill in the afternoon while watching Dr. Oz.

It's only 6.30pm and I'm having a hot cup of tea then going to sit out on the patio till I can't stay awake any longer...then to bed....I might get in the hot tub for a while if Gary does...I don't like to go alone if I'm really tired.
So lets all have a super Friday, it seems to have come early this week and not complaining.

    Morning Kitt,

    Hope you got some good zzzzzz's, I just don't sleep well also because of my back problems.

    I found another good energy bar.....BALANCE GOLD, like the caramel nut blast. It has 210 calories, low GI index and for me the protein is 15 gr, which is great. I get them at "Smart and Final"

    go back and read this blog...even though you were tired you still managed to do a walk in different forms at least 3x's..I think that is fantastic --who else would do exercise or just moving it..3x's in 1 day? lol you are the best!

    Not sleeping drags me me down as well, I have had some limited success with drinking valerian tea at bedtime to try and quiet my mind, it tastes pretty grassy, but its relaxing.

    Sorry you had so much trouble sleeping last night, Kitt. I'm like you and am kind of crabby when I don't get enough sleep. We need it to keep our batteries recharged -- what a difference it makes!

    I feel exhausted today even on a good night's sleep! I don't know what it is about the shorter workweeks; it seems like God is doubly packing in the work to make up for the missing day. I can't wait to try the Lara Bars!

    I love those Lara Bars. my favorites are the Peanut butter cookie and the Peanut Butter and Jelly. I always keep them around. Being gluten free, in a pinch, they are great for an emergency snack.

    Sorry you couldn't sleep last night. Hopefully you will sleep extra better tonight!
