I'll be leaving for a week of summer camp with the Boy Scouts on the 19th of June. That means a week of sleeping on the ground, in a tent. My idea of roughing it in the great outdoors in our 37' motor home with a queen size bed ... sleeping on the ground in a tent is misery. This year I've decided not to be miserable. I bought myself a little present ... a hammock. Not the kind you tie to a tree; this hammock has a double attachment on each end to prevent tipping for easier entering and exiting and it has a storage shelf under the "bed" of the hammock. I'll be up off the ground this year ... woohoo! I plan to have fun and be well rested. Last year I took the time to dig up the two rocks I slept on all week when we took down my tent ... this year I won't be digging up any rocks because I won't feel them from my hammock!
