The rollercoaster has stalled, before it has even started down the hill!

Back from a long 48 hour weekend at the MS-150 "Escape to the Lake" here in PA. I have volunteered to be support to my companies team for the last 3 years now. It is incredibly inspiring to watch all the bike riders come in at the finish line on both days of this fund raiser. I didn't have the best food choices the last 48 hours, but tried to make the best with what I had. Stayed within or close to my recommended calorie count for the days - exercised 4 days last week, 3 of which were intense 30 minute romps to the fun and fit "Body Gospel". I hadn't snuck a peak at the scale all week - waiting for what I was sure would be a HUGE loss this week since I had officially crept out of my sedentary lifestyle! So this morning I triumphantly stepped on the scale a day late from my usual weigh in due to being out all weekend AND - - - the numbers had not changed one iota! They had not move a single ounce from last week. It is so hard not to be discouraged and allow myself to have the old thoughts of negativity creep in. DANG IT! ! I worked so hard last week! This time the weight seems to be needing a pick and axe to come off, regardless of what changes I make!
This week I am on vacation and headed home to my parents in Ohio. Smart choices will be difficult in their house as it is a Carb Festival most days. I am going to offer to cook and maybe we can have a few healthier choices. I hate this roller coaster and am learning to make the changes in my life but sometimes it just isn't fair. I want to leave the amusement park for good, and never see the roller coaster again. Goals for this week are the same as last:
Weight: Lose 15 lbs total from my start weight by the Fourth of July
H2O - Drink AT LEAST 4 cups of water a day for 30 days. (yes, I know I should strive for 8, but we are starting a new habit and I am not a water fan. Remember - I want the goal to be achievable!)
Calories - track all food every day in my food tracker - regardless of whether I am going to make my calories or not!
Exercise - at least 3 days of cardio every week
Health - Dentist and Physical in the next 30 days
The Spark - Finish reading by the end of June
