What the heck?

Last week was my first full week back on SP and I was pumped, focused and ready to rock...and I did! Friday came and I went out for lunch with the girls in my office. We chose a restaurant that has a wide variety of foods but it's completely possible to order healthy and within a 400 calorie range...perfect! We had an excellent lunch and I was proud of my choices --> grilled chicken burger with only half of the whole wheat bun, lettuce, tomato, pickle and about a dozen sweet potato fries just because I could!
I was entertaining over the weekend so was a little concerned about that. I did go over a bit and had too many drinks but I was not going to feel bad about it. The oddball thing being, after my guests had gone home, I sat down with another 4 oz piece of bbq'd steak and a corn on the cob, BEFORE bed!! I don't normally feel the need to eat before bed! I was going to try to watch a movie and I think I knew I was tired so maybe thought I'd eat more to keep myself awake? I don't know but I'm not happy about it and it makes me go hmmmm.

All in all, it was a busy but good weekend that found me consuming too many calories overall. Today I feel sluggish and nowhere near as spunky as last week! Note to self...limit the "weekend stuff-my-face warrior" within...she's my evil twin! Onward and downward!!!
