Happy Hump Day!

I finally finally got back into the gym yesterday. I did 30/60s for 45 minutes. It is 5 minutes less than I generally do, but my feet are majorly sore from all the walking at the festival. It felt great to break a nice sweat that wasn't from humidity! It was also nice that my boyfriend is back in the gym with me, I love watching him get all worked out too. :]

We went out to a pretty nice restraunt for dinner last night as a celebration for our IG inspection going great at work. I am sooooo glad it is over. Preparing for inspections is miserable and redundant work, now we have a couple years until another big one. Thankfully, I was so stressed out I was crying Monday, I just couldn't help it.

I had an awesome seafood medley for dinner, with a no-jito (a mojito made with wine- really good). I wasn't much concerned about going over my calories as I ate a really small portion as usual, and I knew shrimp/salmon/scallops are some of the better meats to have in a medley. Then when I got home I realized I had only had about 400 calories for the day beforehand. Yikes. I am going to HAVE to go grocery shopping this weekend and get my health food stash back up to capacity so that I can get back into eating several small meals again. Cannot wait to cook a good dinner! Cannot wait to move to our new place so we have a functional kitchen (Bruce's has one SMALL counter-seriously..).

This morning I did incline intervals on the treadmill for 30 minutes, but I plan on going for a good run, and doing some lifting this afternoon, after I find my MP3 player again... I cannot bring myself to do a 50 minute jog without music, I just can't.

I hope your weeks are going great, I am in an amazing mood and glad to have a half day today, woot woot.

Hey girl! Yeah I hear you, Michael and I were so excited to get in our new kitchen and cook food for ourselves...it's like both our old kitchens combined and after all the time eating out cooking for ourselves is wonderful. I am going to have to start being vigilant, since I really think I eat more with him around...hopefully start tracking again next week lol.

You come back from your break and you are already murdering the workouts! Get it is all I can say!

Once you get back into the groove of things you will be getting enough calories. Once you get those extra calories, you will feel better and you will have more energy!

I'm loving the mood you are in....I can feel the energy!

I find that when I walk, I like to use the time to work out problems that I am having. It's a good time to think and I find the silence peaceful. Also, sometimes when you constantly listen to music or are totally plugged in, it's hard to hear who you really are and what is really going on around you in the world. But, yes, music makes the world go 'round.

Welcome back to the wonderful world of exercise. Sorry about your mp3 player. Maybe i need to join the 21st century and get one of those things.

Jogs without music are BRUTAL. I spent about two solid hours yesterday looking for my armband so i could go running (I had an 8-miler scheduled) and finally found it in my laundry. ugh.

I'm so happy that you're not only back at it but absolutely KILLING it! Way to go girl. Dinner sounded amazing. You definitely need to eat more! 400 cals...wow, I have trouble eating that little in one meal haha. It's so nice when your boyfriend can work out with you - you're a lucky girl! Good luck with the rest of the week!!
