Update on Me

I have not been online at all for a while and I haven't been tracking. I've let other projects entice my attention away from doing my tracking and participating online. That's been a mistake.
However, I've been really living my life. I have been walking across large university campuses with my daughter, riding bikes with the family, walking with my dog, actually enjoying moving my body. I have been happy. I have been healthy. Even with all the crappy cold weather, I've been living my life to the fullest. I've been doing a lot of fun projects for home and family.
I can't tell you how grateful I am for all this wonderful energy and health I'm experiencing. I have Spark People to thank for this. If I want to make progress, however, I've got to get back on track with my Spark People habits and then stay on track.
I have to put my priorities back in place now and restart focusing on tracking food and exercise. It's time to actually plan my food and stop the snacking. I am so glad to be reconnecting with everyone here on Spark People. You are the only people who understand what is needed to completely change my life and keep it changing.
I don't want to fall back into bad habits, get distracted and loose ground. That's what I've been on the brink of recently.
So, today I'm reconnecting with you all by writing this blog. If I don't refocus and restart, before I know it I'll be back to that miserable lump on the couch.
I love my life right now. Thanks to Spark People I know what it takes to keep it and grow it.
