Wow, I haven't blogged in almost a month

I've been doing other things on SP in the past month (except for the one week I was on vacation), but I didn't realize it had been so long since I wrote my last blog entry. Of course there have been many positives and negatives during that month. On the negative side, I went through a phase of not doing very well with my eating or exercise. I did keep doing some cardio, but I wasn't tracking it, and I wasn't doing much strength training, and I wasn't eating very well. I'm not really sure what the problem was. I'm pretty much over that slow spell now, though, and I've been doing much better recently, especially with exercising. I did do one really good thing since the last time I blogged: I did the Duluth Stars and Stripes 5k! It was Memorial Day weekend. I walked most of it, and even jogged a little on some of the downhill parts. I was very proud of myself for doing it.

I'm going to try to do better about blogging more often from now on!

    I kind of gave up blogging! But I think it helps keep you focused a bit so I should do it more.

    I want to do a 5k eventually. I started the C25K program and then got so tired (when I found out I was anemic) so I stopped. I am feeling better now so time to get back on the treadmill. WAY too hot here to do a 5k until fall. I think I would melt or have a heat stroke!

    Congrats and keep up the good work. You certainly have the right attitude and that is more than half the battle!

    Congrats on the 5K. I've actually got my first one coming up Saturday which will be exactly 8 days before my first time ever participating in the Peachtree!

    Great job on the 5k! I would love to get involved doing 5k's, even just to walk...I need some new t-shirts! How are you learning about local 5k's? emoticon

    Congrats on your 5k! That's awesome! Strength training has fallen by the wayside for me, too; I'm going to have to keep working on tracking it! emoticon
