How to curb late night cravings? _ Dill Pickle Pringles anyone?

I stay within my calorie count ALL DAY, exercise for 15 minutes of aerobics last night, and then around 9:00 PM I am hungry. Like grumbly in the belly hungry. I grabbed the first thing I set eyes on. A tube of dill pickle Pringles. These are YUM, but admitedly - chips are a weakness. Measuring out a half of serving shows that I started out with good intentions, but grabbing the tube a few minutes later shows how weak I really am. I limited myself to just two full servings, but I probably should have grabbed a banana instead. Maybe best not to have these in the house?

What strategies does everyone use to curb the cravings?

    nO CHIPS IN THE HOUSE IF THEY ARE A WEAKNESS. i CURB THE LATE NIGHT CRAVING WITH EITHER YOPLAIT LIGHT YOGURT WHICH i FREEZE OR JELLO SENSATIONS WHICH ARE 60 CALORIES AND FAT FREE. yOU WILL FIND YOUR OWN WAY TO CURB THE CRAVINGS. IT TOOK ME AWHILE TO CURB MINE! emoticon

    Normally I have 100 calorie snacks around the house so if I'm hungry I grab one of those so it's not that many calories even if I got over I don't feel that bad. I also try to drink something flavored like sugar free juice or tea or something that gives your taste buds something to savor but not pack on the pounds. Hope this helps. Happy Sparking!

    I do not keep the snacks I crave in the house,Doritos and such
    Chocolate on the other hand I buy once in a while (Lindt's Dark with jalapeƱo)I can actually eat only one pc of it.
    if you have a late night craving as said drink some cold water and wait if you are still craving something grab a carrot or a celery stalk. emoticon emoticon

    i brush my teeth when i dont want to eat anymore. or drink a big glass of really cold water. you could also buy those drink mixes and add it to a bottle of water. but yeah the bast thing is not to buy food that you know you have a bingeing problem with.

    next time maybe eat a real pickle? lol lots of sodim but not as bad for you as chips lol

    If I get super hungry late at night, I have a glass of ice water and wait about 15 minutes. Usually, my cravings will subside. If not, then I'll have a little of what I'm craving. It's hard not to overdo it sometimes, so I'm always so happy when the water trick works!
