I discovered some things about myself

The past few weeks I have been thinking and reflecting on why I seem to give up and quit every time I try to lose weight. I figured out why. There are actually several reasons. 1. I don't lose weight as quickly as some others might even when I workout like crazy. 2. I tend to compare myself to others and get discouraged and all the negative thoughts come back. This last time my job had a "friendly" competition "The Biggest Loser" just like the show and I thought if I weighed in weekly with others that would help me stay on track. Well seeing in black and white where I stayed the same or even went up from week to week totally derailed me. I totally quit and seemingly ate everything in sight.
Knowing is half the battle
