So, I got home yesterday to discover that the clothes I ordered from a catalog arrived 3 days earlier than expected. That was exciting! I was concerned that they might not fit, since I got small everything and you never know how things are sized when you can't try them on first. Anyway, the clothes all fit awesomely, and I am super excited to rock them. I even got a high waisted belt, I have yet to do that look but I think women look super hot in it.
I had thought about taking the work out easy yesterday since I was sore, but once I got those clothes and they fit I was inspired to really kick some butt. I did all of my lifting, plus 45 minutes of cardio. It was intense. Bruce met me at the gym and worked out, it is always nice to see him sweating next to me.
He received another call for promotion yesterday evening, that was within the RTI, which is a training unit. It is non-deployable, so he isn't going to deploy in April. It doesnt mean that he won't ever deploy, it just means that his unit won't, he can be pulled for other deployments. He is happy because he feels that this way he can still deploy with his current unit (he is really attached) by volunteering for their deployments. Then I could also volunteer, and we could hang out. :] Whatever works, I am just glad he is taking the promotion instead of sitting around waiting for one within his unit.
So we went out to celebrate. Never a good idea, but it was his celebration and I couldn't tell him no. We went and met his friend for a drink at the VFW. We only stayed out until 10 which was awesome, but we had a few shots, and I had a diet 7up and vodka (which was AWESOME by the way). Once we got home, we had a couple shots of vodka, and a couple beers. Let's just say that I don't remember much more after that, but I engaged in some *extra curricular activities*.... ha...
So, good thing is that the extra 700 calories I drank last night, I more than burned off. But I was planning on those calories being an extra debit, but oh well. There are times in our lives when we must celebrate, and I am glad that I was there for the man that I love. I am really proud of him.
On the way to work Bruce's tire blew, and we were late. After we left on time after drinking all night, the tire WOULD blow. That's our luck. And he just bought the tire in April, and it looks like it was cut with a knife! That is really frustrating, so we are going to take care of it on the way home.
Anyway, bad start to my Friday, but ready for a relaxing evening studying for midterms tomorrow and just being lazy. In preparation for tomorrow nights birthday party. yay. :]
