Countdown to April

I have decided to take a break from most cardio and eating super strick until January 1, when I will start my 15 contest countdown. I am thinking that this will help to jump start my metabolism. I am not going to "pig out" or anyrhing, just relax a little.

I have my diet planned out in the same style that MsFit had given me before. It wss convenient that she had sent the macros, they made my life easier.

I am looking at 1250 calories per day spread out over 5 meals. I have two high carb meals, one in the morning with Oatmeal and an apple, then the other in the afternoon with brown rice. The rest of my carbs come from Non Starchy Veggies, which Karen never counted anyway...but I will.

I have aprox 160g protein, 30g fat and 100g carbs for the first phase. I will raise and lower carbs as necessary. I am aiming for about a 10 pound weight loss spread over the 15 weeks.

For exercise, I plan to do Cardio 5x week...monday through Friday. I think I will do it at home, using my tae Bo and Biggest Loser tapes in the morning. I am also lifting 5x week, Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed and Friday. I may drop that to 4 times, I will see how I feel.

Bring on the competition!!!!
