My nutrition so far this week, and on into the future

As usual, my nutrition this week has not been as good as my exercise. I've always been a picky eater, and of course, a lot of the foods I like are not healthy. So while I've made a lot of improvement in exercising since I've joined SparkPeople, my nutritional improvement is moving much more slowly. I am proud of the improvements that I have made, but it is time for me to step it up. For some reason, the healthy eating issue has really hit home with me this week. I made a good effort to eat more vegetables this week (this is one of my big problems because I don't like many of them). All week long I've been thinking about how I want to really start working on healthy eating. I have been reading some of the nutrition articles and message boards here on SP, and getting ideas. I've been looking through some cookbooks (my own and also at bookstores). I talked to my trainer about it, and he gave me some suggestions. I've also asked my boyfriend to help me eat healthier, because he does that much better than I do. So I think I am really ready to do this now, and I am going to make this my focus for July. I am going to write out some specific goals and plans this weekend, and make this my month to really kickstart my much healthier way of eating.
