I'd like to thank everyone for your comment, support and encouragement on my last blog, with my before and after pictures....I do appreciate it....we all need to remember where we started at, and where we are at now. thanks again, my dear Sparkpeople friends.

It was a warm one today, on the bank by work it said 106 ....the official temp at our airport was 102...
But I still went to the farmers market, we had fun , bought some corn on the cob and showed the people at work how to nuke the corn so even they can now make corn on the cob... it was fun....we cleaned the corn at the city park and they all had a ball.....
We then went to the Mall to walk, it's way to hot to be outside walking...
so got plenty of exercise....
It's suppose to be HOT again tomorrow and then cool off Thursday if you can call 95 cooling off.

Today I noticed that I feel more muscled, or maybe toned is the better answer....
I also read a blog where the women said she was 145 pound and in a size 8..
I'm 141 an in a size 10-12...sure doesn't seem fair...she did not say how tall she was but....guess that's life....maybe I need to shop else where....
I bought a new pair of jeans, size 10 and they were tight, but then notice that the flare cut jeans seem to have skinny legs, I need to stick with relaxed big thighs sure get in the in more way than one...
well no real news to report, all seems to be going pretty good....getting excited about leaving to go camping is so much fun and a great way to just get away from it all..

Have a healthy week, yahoo it's Wednesday tomorrow already

Take care

Glad you had fun yesterday, farmer markets are always fun. Don't even get me started on clothes sizes, I don't know how on earth some people state what they weigh and then are in a size 6 while I am locked in a size 12. All I can figure out is that they are in the high end designer clothes.

Oh, I love corn on the cob. In fact, I had some for lunch today. It's so yummy. I boil mine on the stove top.

Sounds like you had a great time.

Kitt, what your friend is wearing doesn't matter. As others have said, no two sizes are the same, and no two people are the same. What matters is where you started and where you are now. You've dropped a lot of sizes and that's an awesome achievement! A size is just a number, and it doesn't show the major accomplishment that your life shows. Be very proud of that achievement and don't let the numbers get you.

Kitt-yep, all clothes are made differently and I know I can never go by sizes. I'm 5'4 and weigh 163. I can wear a 10 or 12, depending on what it is and where I buy it, but a co-worker is 20 pounds heavier and about the same height and she wears a 7 or 8! Now I shop at WalMart and/or Target and she buys pants that cost $1000 per pair! You're doin' great!

Hope you have fun camping again! Sounds like you have the heat we had last week. We had 3 days we were 103-107 (air temps, not the heat index!). This week we've been 80's to 90's, but more humid so it almost feels worse. Hope you stay cool!

kitt remember that we can not go by sizes as all clothes are manufactered differently... like some clothes I get size 8 some are size 10s I have even had to get size 12's in a dress but in a pair of pants I wanted needed the size 7 so it is how they are manufactured..remember this...okay!!!!

Nuked corn --does it taste as good?? glad that was a good day..

    thanks for bloging hugs Jo
