So I gained a pound....

Monday, July 19, 2010

Okay so I have had a rocky start emoticon. I have gained a pound in a week emoticon. But on the plus side it is a pound, and I am holding myself accountable. Since finding the pound gain, went on a walk today for lunch, and took a different rout, which added 5 min. I also have added a 99% fat free yogurt to my lunch, so I can eat this instead of some chips, or something else equally bad. I plan on going for a walk tonight with the kids when I get home, and this should help me too emoticon. I know when I walked on my lunch, I had a chance to clear my head, and to think. I want to be more active emoticon, I want to be able to get down and play with my kids, and not get tired. I want to run around and do more for me. So yes, I gained a pound, but I am going to take that pound off, and many more. So yes, I gained a pound, but I will not let this hold me down. So yes, I gained a pound, but this will just give me a new beginning, and a new start, from here. From here I must go down, from here, I must do better, for my kids emoticon, for my husband emoticon, and for ME emoticon!

Hurrah for you! Remember, sometimes one added pound can just be a variation in water weight. and it is a great motivator to do better the next week. I often find that after the week in which I gain a pound, I take off several pounds in the next week. Go figure! But, no biggee if you stay on track! emoticon

I feel that you are still on the right track. At least it wasn't more than one and you are right, you are holding yourself accountable. Keep pushing, you can do this.
