Saturday Morning with my friend - Prednisone!

Saturday, July 24, 2010

Good early Saturday morning, Sparklers! Since I am having issues with my "frozen" shoulder, the Doc has graciously put me on a heavy course of steroids to lower the inflammation in the joint, which will hopefully allow me to be able to move my arm enough to tuck in my shirts, and thread a belt on my right side! Since I am asthmatic - Prednisone and I are old friends. She makes me do crazy things like not be able to sleep - even when I am tired, and eventually I will want to clean all sorts of things that I haven't thought of cleaning for some time. For example - removing EVERYTHING from a second bedroom, cleaning floors, baseboards, walls etc, throwing things out, selling some on eBay, and rearranging whatever is left. In the wee hours of the morning.

I do love steroids!

I take what I call the dreaded P too for asthma. It seems like I am on it more frequently this year than ever before. I hate the side effects like the sleepless nights and seeming to stay hungry (who knows maybe that in my head because I love food so much, and lately it seems to make me feel aggitated. Best of luck to you. I hope your shoulder is better soon and the side effects aren't bad for you.

Sad we live so far apart you would really enjoy cleaning at my place and not even feel crazy doing it. In fact you could feel proud.
I at least hope you get better soon.
