Floundering to Focusing

I seem to have lost my way somewhat lately.
Since quitting smoking last October, I have gained about 15 pounds and have been struggling to get it back off.
Now, I think I might be in the beginning of perio menopause ( hot flashes, irritability, fatigue, etc.) so that's not helping with the weight issue either.
I really need to do a better job at balancing my food choices. I seem to be always going over on calories, fat, or carbs anymore. I need to get back to making healthier choices and eating less. And I need to start now!
