Floundering to Focusing

I seem to have lost my way somewhat lately.
Since quitting smoking last October, I have gained about 15 pounds and have been struggling to get it back off.
Now, I think I might be in the beginning of perio menopause ( hot flashes, irritability, fatigue, etc.) so that's not helping with the weight issue either.
I really need to do a better job at balancing my food choices. I seem to be always going over on calories, fat, or carbs anymore. I need to get back to making healthier choices and eating less. And I need to start now!

    My grandmother used to say that losing your way isn’t the problem. Not ever finding it again would be the real tragedy. That you’ve recognized you are off target is half the battle. Hang in there. You can do it.

    You can do it. I am sure your body is still adjusting to your not smoking. And the other, I know I am hanging in the wind for that to begin - oh what fun women have! I'd like to pass the buck on that one for sure! Hang in there it will get better. emoticon
