Okay, day two and I'm working on being on-track

Well, yesterday I was full of resolve - it took a bit of a dip this morning, but I'm doing my best to pull myself back on the right track. Sat down at lunch and tracked my food intake, whoa, was that depressing! It's clear that I need to be way more diligent on that front. Having said that, I took an hour to sit down and record everything, which meant entering new foods into the food data base since many items weren't listed.
So, dinner is now written down and if I stay on track I won't be too far over where I should be (less than 100 calories). I'm confident that had I not takent the time to face the music and record the day, I'd have been a good 1,000 calories over by the end. Now there's a scary thought!
Okay, so the new resolve is to look at what I plan to eat, before I actually do the eating.
