Good morning everyone!
I did cardio X yesterday, and was sweating my butt off. Not quite like Plyo, but still sweat soaked T shirt and bright red face. Of course, I am pasty so my face turns red easily. :]
The diet is really of interest to me still. I felt bloated yesterday, which was crappy. I know that anytime you change your diet or work out program, these weird things can happen. But it doesn't mean I like it any more. I also have to say (TMI, I know) that it made me a little irregular. Being that I get a lot of my fiber from the same sources I get my carbs, it makes sense. I have a fiber supplement I took again this morning and will continue to do so as long as I am in this Fat Shredding stage of the P90X diet. Plus I am going to buy some spinach and other leafy greens so that I can get more fiber. I have such an issue with regularity anyway, that I don't need anything else to make me feel bloaty and gross. I promised myself that I would stick with the 50/30/20 split for at least a week and see how it works out, so I will continue on. I would like to make it the full month if the fiber helps. I do have to admit- I don't feel hungry AT ALL on this diet plan. More like the opposite, I am feeding myself even when I don't want to eat. I am buying my HRM next week, then I will feel much more confident about upping my calories if need be, or lowering them to match my burn.
My work out partner's husband was up her butt about coming to my house to work out last night. Something like she is abadoning him. Wow- for a whole 60-90 minutes 5x week she wants to work out and you want to make her feel bad for it??? Not healthy.... She has the same size frame as me and is just slightly taller than me and has shot up about 70 pounds since high school (she was the hot chick in school, skinny and very top heavy). She has gained motivation to lose it, and he wants to hold her back. If he is so insecure, perhaps he should get into a work out program as well. That is what Bruce did, one day he was like "wow, you're really getting into this fitness thing." Instead of trying to stop me, he decided the best move would be to also improve his health and his opinion of himself. That is how I know I have an amazing boyfriend, I couldn't be married to someone who wanted to bring me down.
Anyway, done ranting, it just pisses me off. The main reason I agreed to do P90X is so that we could do a work out program together since she doesn't have a gym membership. I really hope he doesn't get in the way of it.
Anyway, I read a lot about some hair styles I want to try out last night. I need to buy some rollers. I love the setup I have going on right now as far as my schedule. I go home from work, walk at the gym (really slow while I read), go home, eat some eggs (haha), and then have about an hour and a half before Candace comes over to work out. I committed to use that time to do something other than watch TV. I also like the extra space in my house! Bruce and I haven't been in each other's ways much at all lately. We hang out when we want and stay separate when we want.
