Business as Usual

Hello everyone, hope you had great weekends!

Mine was long and awesome and I got a little sunburned. I loved rocking my new swim suit looking like a sailor, just wished I would have had the hat to match. It is funny to go from a bikini to a one piece as I am working on building confidence in myself, but I figured it would be easier for the float sitting on a raft not thinking about my belly the entire time. And I was right.

I really want my internet to work at home, I have been so busy at work I don't have time to really be on Spark like I want. Good news, they are SUPPOSED to fix our internet on Thursday. Otherwise, we are SUPPOSED to get out of the contract so we can just choose a new provider. With us both starting class this week, we are going to need good access for research, plus one of my classes has assignments due online and such. It is just frustrating it's been nearly a month and they haven't treated us with any type of concern regarding our service. Bruce asked them for a copy of the contract and they said they don't actually have a paper contract, just a verbal one.... Which makes no sense because they never explained the terms. It is just really frustrating.

Yesterday my little sister flipped her girlfriend's car on the highway. She was sleepy apparently and drove off the side of the road into an embankment. Lucky that she came out of it unharmed besides just bruises and such. The police were convinced she had tried to kill herself since there were no skid marks and my question is why that would be the first assumption instead of perhaps her falling asleep at the wheel when it was 6 in the morning?? And there are much more effective methods to kill yourself I imagine...

Eating has been going well, working out has been good besides my little absense during the float trip. With classes starting yesterday, I am already concerned about time. I have to leave for work at 645, then go straight from work to the gym, shower there, and then go straight to school until 10pm. I guess I could get up earlier so that I have more than 45 minutes to work out and then 10 minutes to shower... But my day already seems endless. Then with all of the school work (I started class yesterday and have a speech due tomorrow) I am really wishing I could go back to my old gym schedule and just go straight there from work and then home to shower/eat/do homework. I love P90X, I just don't love waiting until 630 at night to do it... I'm sure it will work out though, who needs free time anyway??

Anyway, I am going to browse blogs and catch up on everyone and get some work done as well... Have a great rest-of-the-week!

Relieved to read that your sister is ok.

The internet situation seems ridiculous! I hope they take care of it when they come out.

I'm happy you had fun on the float trip!!

Your state should have a utilities commission.
Call them and complain about the Internet company.

If the company can't produce a contract, how can they hold you to one?
Also, since they have not provided the agreed service for such a long time, they are in breech of contract if one even exists.

glad your sister survived her accident.
Also glad you had a great float trip!

So sorry about your sister! It is weird they thought suicide...I'd be curious to see what separates falling asleep at the wheel versus suicide in their cases.

Sounds like you are one busy girl! Good luck with school & everything!
