Getting back into the habbit

Well I have taken the neccesary steps for me to get back into my healthy lifestyle. Thursday I did my Walk Away the Pounds: 3 mile dvd for 47 minutes. I used the 1 pound weights just to get back into it. Yesterday I went ahead and did the WATP: 3 mile again but this time I used the 3 pound weights. WOW what a difference. I needed that extra for my arms but I think I need to start with the 2 pound and work up to the three. My arms arent too bad this morning but I wont be able to do anything with weights tonight.

On the food front, I set up my menu for the week and made a grocery list accordingly. DH went and picked up the groceries for us last night while I worked out and did the laundry. We have a delicious week ahead of us and I dont have to worry about the big question every night: WHATS FOR DINNER. We used to do this when we lived in our apartment but we got out of the habbit and then back into it and then again fell out of it. I am hoping this time it will stick. I did good on my water yesterday and I was trying to make a concious effort on getting my 8 glasses in over the weekend. That is the hardest thing for me. I guess its because I dont have my 32 oz WW mug with me at home.

I had a wonderful horse lesson on Saturday. We did some warm ups on the ground and then we did a little in the saddle. It was fun. We played the 7 games from the saddle, did a little bit of 2 carrot stick riding and some level 3 tasks. I did some stearing and stopping and backing without reins just using the carrot sticks and leg cues. We also did some circling around some barrels, which was great and help to teach Sassy to follow the feel off of my foot cues as well as follow my focus. We have a lot of work to do in that department but it gives me some great ideas to play with.

    Congrats on getting back on track! This sounds like a great plan. Have fun with dinner this week. I really like the 3 miler WATP - it was my favorite!
