Really bummed out this morning for the 6 pound weight gain. But now I know that I need to come up with an Action Plan for traveling and stressful times. Last week I went to Texas to visit a very dear friend, who is like a second mother to me. She'd just had a feeding tube put in and her condition didn't look promising. Of course, stress makes me carb/sugar crave and I fell right into the pit for almost the whole time I was there. My food choices were limited, but I still could have done a better job of eating healthier things. On the plus side, I did drink lots of water. Anyhow, I can't let another stressful situation sneak up on me and derail my progress in the future.

Looks like I need to make a point of taking the RIGHT foods with me and I need to have a diet buddy to contact by phone in the event that I don't have access to the internet again.

    Realizing what went wrong and learning from it is half the battle. If you can, take a walk when things get stressful, and enjoy the time you get to have with your friend.

    I find it easier to give advice than I do taking my own advice, LOL
