Just Call Me Second Hand Rose!!!

I have had a wonderful day.
I got up very rested this morning. walked the dog, it was cool out side.
Ate a good fiber filled breakfast. Read the Spark article about how important it is to eat breakfast.
Got all my office work caught up in no time. I was a speed demon.
Logged on to Spark, tracked and huddled with some teams.
I was anxious to get to the gym and work out.
Last night I sat in bed and used my stretch bands for about 15 minutes in a rowing workout.
I am getting addicted to workouts. Surprise , Surprise!!!
I planned to go grocery shopping after the gym. And if time permitted I would stop at Goodwill to see if I can find some pants that fit me.
Last time I was at Goodwill I could find nothing. But I was tired and didn't have the patience to look at every piece of clothing.
This time I would take my walker with the seat, and just sit and look at every pair on the rack in my size.
So the gym was great, I felt pumped up after I was finished. It was nice to get back in the water. My laps are getting better each week.
I went to the grocery store. Limited my buying, so as not to have spoilage if I can't eat everything in a week. The store is not so far away that I can't go back when I need something.
Then I went to the Goodwill. Oh did I find some good buys. I bought six pair of pants, some
from Talbot's, a pair of Liz Clairborne , Amanda Smith, really nice clothes, all for the price of $33.94. Can you believe it?? I got a pair of velvet pants for the holidays. I have a velvet top that is going to be just perfect. I am so happy. Beautiful material and cut so well.
The clerk told me for if I was over 65, Wednesday is seniors 10% off day. I told her I could qualify for that since I was 68. She said she could hold everything till Wednesday and then I could come in and get my savings. But I told her no, not this time, but next time I will.
Believe me there will be a next time too.
I bought 16 and 18 regular ladies. The 16 that zip and have regular waist bands are still too tight. Probably another 20 lbs. They were just too good to past up. One pair of 16 has a stretch waist band it's knit it works now. The two 18's fit just fine. I figure I have pants now for the next 3 or 4 months.
I did see some nice 12 and 14, so I know where I will be shopping after the new year..
Some of the clothes I saw still had store price tags on them. Just some great items.
So if in doubt about where to shop for transition clothes, you can't go wrong with the Goodwill. Take it from this clothes horse who has always been a fashionista.
Now with the money I saved I buy the bras and items that one can't get at Goodwill. Smile!!
Well my day ended on a happy note. I hope everyone had as nice a day as I had.
