Thanks Everyone

Wednesday, January 10, 2007

Thank you all for your encouragement for me signing up for the Community Team Member. I think I will give it a try today.

I did well yesterday, we had a salad for dinner and I did my workout: TheFirm: Dance Slim Down for 45 minutes. My thighs are sore today. I also drank 10 glasses of water yesterday.

I weighed in this morning and although I am down to 179.5 from 181, I still feel like I let myself down. Before the holidays I was down to 177 and at my first goal. I didnt reward myself for fear of gaining and I am glad I didnt because I didnt deserve it. When I hit it again and I can drop below it the next week, then I will know I deserve my reward. I think it will be a new bathing suit. I do have a bikini, but there are still way to many rolls and soft spots to be wearing it so, I might go with a tankini or another full piece. I also need some new boardshorts too.

Congrats!! You've probably already realized that being a CT member isn't such a big deal VBG Really you post and are active and that is what being in the CT group is all about - that and reaching out to newcomers. I know you can do it and do it well!

Carol, by all means, reward yourself!
I totally KWYM about not deserving it. And in the past, I have taken steps backwards right after rewarding myself. But you know what? It doesn't matter!
The point is not to be perfect, but to keep trying. And some small rewards along the way are making things more enjoyable!
I'm currently part of a challenge called exercise minutes with rewards. There's like - 5 rewards each month (if you meet your goals). Isn't that fun?
