Journal#1 What are your goals... long term and short term in relation to your health? What steps are you taking to reach them? Be specific.

I can fit into another pain of jeans and my legs look skinner in my exercise pants.
I believe life will be different because I will have more confidence once I am fit, toned and eating healthier. I’ll be able to fit back into my ‘small’ clothes. I’m just sorry I got rid of some outfits, thinking I’d never be small again. So people told me, “Oh no, your metabolism has changed with age, you won't be as skinny any more.
I’ve proved that theory wrong, because I was almost fit, healthy and skinny about 2 years ago. Before I had to go up north for a month.
I had lost inches in my inner thighs, butt, calves and abs. INNER THIGHS! I never thought that would happen, but I now know it is possible. The legs of my pants fit loose!
But, tending to family matters I got out of my routine and gained back everything, plus more.
It seems that when I am just this close (thumb & first finger almost touching) to achieving my complete goal….something happens to kick me back.
This time it was going up north to move my mom down. No treadmill, not safe to walk around the neighborhood like I use to in the past.
I plan to keep on target and get my body back. Some people think I don’t need to do anything, that I am skinny because I’m 4’8” and weigh around 102. I can tell when my clothes fit tight or that I can’t fit into them at all.
Since camp, I have gotten more motivated. I can now get down on the floor and get back up without effort. I try to stretch every morning.
Being retired and being a SAHD (stay at home daughter) I am able to spend more time working on my goals.
Long term goal is to hopefully get off my Lipitor.
