Fall 5% Challenge Day 28 & 29

emoticon On Sunday I rode my bike to work. The day went really fast. I ran some errands and did a little shopping. Then I went home to catch up on my Sparking.

emoticon Late in the evening I was feeling pretty perky and not terribly sore inspite of the 4 ringette games in 2 days. My hip wasn't really bothering me so I decided I was going to try and complete W8D2 of C25K. I hadn't been running for more than 2 weeks and I wasn't really sure how it would go. I was prepared to stop if my hip acted up. But it didn't !!! Woo Hoo! I was very slow but I ran the whole 28 minutes without stopping. I'm hopeful that I can keep it up.

I made an appointment for a massage. I couldn't get in until Saturday. I'm really looking forward to it. I have been pretty tight for a few months. I'm hoping that all I need to jump start my running is to losen up the muscles in my back and shoulders. It will certaily help my skating too.

emoticon It was raining today and we couldn't go outside for Inmotion. So I taught the kids some of the dances that I learned at the inservice. We had a lot of fun.

emoticon I've just finished supervising our grade 6 girls volleyball tournament. I've put away all the equipment and placed all the forgotten artilces in the lost and found. I have a little work to do but I think that I just might leave it for tomorrow. I want to go home, read relax and maybe go for a brisk walk later this evening. I may even do some weights.

I hope everyone had a terrific Monday. Shooting emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I am sucking up as much fiber as I can manage. Between the dancing for Inmotion and my phys. ed. class I already have 60 exercise minutes. I've always wanted to see the Acropolis. I can't wait.

Glad you made it through all your games! How did your team do? How did you mom hold up? I still think it's awesome that your mom plays.
    Congrats on your run!
