One Step Forward, Two Steps Back....

Well, I have done it yet again. Late last week I was excited that I hit the 200 pound mark and was determined to break through it. And as usually, the weekend hit, and all discipline went down the drain. It didn't start out too bad food wise. I was a single parent for the weekend, and one of a 2-1/2 year old none-the-less, so the fitness aspect was non-existant. However, by the end of the weekend, I just let it all out. Now I feel bloated, fat, and a bit discouraged.

It is Monday....the start of a new day and a new week. I have made plans for extra workouts this week (now that my boys are home), and have made plenty of healthy food to have in the fridge. I have no excuses this time. I will get there. I need to remind myself that it is a lifelong journey, not s apeedy race, and I will have set backs. I just need to pick myself off, and keep moving forward. Slow and steady wins the race.
