Not Planning to Lose the next 40 pounds...

Sunday, November 21, 2010

My two Year Anniversary is coming this January, and I am 1/3 of the woman I used to be. With the loss of my first 40 pounds...(only 2 more 40's to go...) I feel tired. The hand to mouth brainless eating is getting the better of me. Yes, by choice. I am strong! I am inspired! I am so not ready to hit that next 40 POUND roadblock.
I workout 4 of 7 days. To lose the next 40, I must workout 6/7 days.
I'm consuming 2500 calories a day. To lose the next 40, I must eat only 1700..
I hate being tied to the computer. To lose the next 40 pounds, I must "Plug IN" to my Spark-line of brothers and sisters.
I'm not in God's Holy word, arming myself against temptations of the flesh. EVERY DAY of my first 40 reading my Bible was the top priority.

Bottom line...I'm am NOT planning to lose the next 40 pounds.

I am not PLANNING to lose the next 40 pounds.

I'm not PLANNING to lose the next 40 pounds?

Oh my goodness! I'M NOT PLANNING to lose.

I'M NOT PLANNING, therefore, you might as well say I'm not planning "to."

Dude, that's profound.

Oh boy! What are you planning to do? But you need to do more than plan as I have found out this year. I need to get myself into gear. Hope you do to.

So now you have to get to the bottom of "WHY am I not planning to lose the next 40 pounds?" Stew on that for awhile and you just might unlock what's holding you back.

You CAN and you really WANT to lose. Otherwise we'd be reading blogs about how happy you are with your 40 pound weight loss and that you're satisfied with where you're at. It's eating away at you (excuse the pun) and you need to unlock it so you can find the strength to go round 2.

I have discovered that weight loss is as much, if not more a spiritual journey. Get on your knees and beg for the Lord to open your eyes, help you to understand what's holding you back, and allow your spirit to heal so that you can love yourself enough to take the steps necessary to reach your goal.

I love you and I KNOW you can do this!

Planning is right! "Those who aim at nothing, hit it every time!" I have no idea where that quote came from, but its so true! My "plan" is a mini-goal of 15lbs by New Years. My overall goal is more like 70lbs by June, but I "plan" to have little mini goals along the way, so I don't become overwhelmed.

don't plan on 40, just plan 5 or 10, something manageable. 40 is too overwhelming for you right now. lose 5 pounds, then plan your next 5. easier said than done, I know, I've fallen off the wagon, disappeared from SP and am returning with an extra 5 pounds, and I'd barely made headway when I was full steam. So, try not to be too quiet, just work towards 5 pounds lost, that way you won't return with an extra 5 pounds as I did! Good luck, God bless you in all your trials, you'll get through them.

I have to get back to planning or I will be right back where I came from and I am not doing that! I plan to get all the way to the finish line this time. Hugs and prayers. I know each of us have to get that determination for ourselves.

I hear what you are saying but it was through planning and determination that you lost the first 40. Now with new habits formed it should only get easier, and its not fair of you to sell yourself short.

You look better, feel better and know what it takes. Hard as it can be to stay focused you clearly see the rewards when you do. So think about the alternative. If you don't plan, and don't change your attitude in a positive way, the inevitable is, you'll more than likely gain back those 40 you lost and then some. Would you have the willpower then to begin again????????
Do you want to go back to where you started?????????????? I DON"T THINK SO!!!!!!

I'm not talking directly at you my dear, it is what I ask and tell myself when as I call it the (stinkin thinkin) starts to happen and I nip it in the bud before it gets the better of me. I tell myself I know what I have to do and I want it, I want it more than anything, not just for me but for my family, to set a better example for my young daughter and promote good sensible eating habits and exercise into her lifestyle.

So I'm address you like I would my daughter, "ANYTHING WORTH WANTING IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR" YOU CAN AND WILL DO THIS! NOT BECAUSE I SAID SO......BECAUSE I THINK I KNOW YOU PRETTY WELL, AND NOTHING WILL FEEL AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS, I PROMISE YOU, SO LETS MOVE IT AND LOSE IT~~~~I'M WITH YOU ALL THE WAY

God Bless you for your sincerity and keepin it real, love ya, Debbie (leader of laugh a lot and be your best book club)
