Wow, things are insane!! Where do I start?

My SIL Margie & her son Marshall just flew in yesterday from Ohio, and will be here for 3 weeks. So with having extra bodies in the house I find myself more busy for some reason, and have a really hard time eating the right things! We went up to the mountains on Sunday and Monday and had a blast, and even though I munched A TON, I did my best to make them healthier snacks and did okay. Now my only problem is those darn Sweethearts candies! Now normally I wouldn't be dumb enough to buy something like that and keep it in my house, but I bought a ton of them to fill a vase I have (with a candle over them) and of course had some leftover. I keep eating them like crazy. And once you get the taste in your mouth you can't stop!! Augh. I figure now that it's gotten this bad if I just eat the whole bag I won't have to worry about it anymore. ;)

On the bright side though, I had gained like a pound and a half last week (putting me at 135.8 or something on Friday), and now I'm back down to 133.8. Woo hoo! I also haven't worked out in a couple days (hard to find time with company), but at least this morning I got up at the butt-crack of dawn and jogged a mile. It felt AWESOME except for being so freaking cold. I literally had to stop after 1/2 mile (which is the length of the loop around our housing tract) to get gloves because my hands were hurting so bad. By time I was done with my mile my ears were stinging so bad. *lol* The pain we go through for beauty. I am feeling more confident though and even though I still didn't muster up the courage to wear my new Bon Jovi t-shirt (wow, is that a sentence from the 80's??) because it was so tight, I do feel a little more comfortable in my skin. If I keep this up, my goal of 125 by Valentine's Day seems attainable, and I'm so excited to get there! We've stocked up the house (lol- I almost spelled that "stalked") with healthy snacks, and even though it makes everyone mad I didn't allow us to buy any junk. Like those dumb Pop-Tarts my husband insisted on. I won. :P Speaking of which, have you tried those Dannon Light N Fit smoothies?! I love those! They are so good and are only 60 calories- we buy the 12 packs at Sam's Club. Oh how I heart Sam's Club.

I'm going to Arkansas in exactly two weeks (TWO WEEKS!! YAY!!!) and DH is saying he's going to get me an MP3 player (generic for me though, those things are too expensive for just the name!), so that will definitely help with my jogs. Yup. Stomping the pavement to some Sean Paul. ;)
