Hi:
I now have pictures on my Spark Page, but they're all a year or two old, which is good, as I would not want one from right now. I'm actually struggling right now. Worked out on treadmill twice only this last week, plus attended a banquet Friday night (prime rib +). My weight is all the way back up to its highest right now. Gotta do better this week, but it will be tough - I have a birthday on the 23rd, and I'll be getting tuna casserole, plus a chocolate pie. Then there's Christmas - gotta match it all with dieting some of the rest of the week and working out more - blessings, Larry - emoticon emoticon

Larry, I was right up there with you at my top weight right after Christmas. I guess we all have 'fat clothes' and 'slim clothes' in the closet besides the ones we usually wear. Well, my 'fat clothes' were getting pretty snug! At about the time I realized it was high time to do something about my weight, I found a year-old magazine with an article and pictures about success stories of a few SparkPeople! It was like a 'God thing', when I went online and saw how much help and support are on this site.

I look forward to hearing about your progress.

Just think about all your portion control training and use it. Even if you only succeed in using it once, you have not eaten too many calories for that one thing! Baby steps. Just do one thing right at a time!

Larry this is a time for joy. Just remember you can eat anything its about PORTION CONTROL. Think about it do not sweat it. Decide now what you will do after you have enjoyed your christmas time. It is too close to do anything about it so just enjoy. Like I said think, analise and plan. Make sure you plan to track your food and ALWAYS have a bowl of fruit handy find your favourite and eat that instead of sugary carbs and white anything. Pat in Maine. Lecture over. Remind yourself how you were able to TRAIN others and do it for yourself. You can do it, it just takes determination and practice, it is just more important for youself now. Thank you for the heads up on your blog. I subscribe to many but these days I do trivia three times a day and sometimes get no points .
Finally I love that you have shared pictures of you and your family, enjoy. Pat in Maine HUGS !!!!See My blogs too !!
