Hope you are all having a wonderful Holiday! I'm on a new road, don't know how well I'll do through Christmas, but I'm going to do my best to stay on track. I'm reading a new "book" that may be the answer for me. I'm not looking for a miracle, just an eating plan that I can live with forever and that will hopefully help to clear my brain a bit from this peri-menopausal haze and insanity.
While I'm still in the process of reading this book, the first step I have taken is to give up coffee. The first day I felt like absolute crap! I'm drinking black tea and will transition over to green tea and herbals, but I am feeling much better today and actually enjoy drinking tea in the morning. I should mention that this isn't the first time I've given up coffee, but it has been for different reasons each time. I'm also going to switch over to stevia and blue agave for sweetening. I'm doing fairly well with my night time eating and am actually down 5 lbs.
I AM looking forward to the new year and know it's going to be MUCH better than this last one was.
