It's almost the New Year

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

I was off work today and had lots of time to think and reflect on my year.
It has been a good year.
We both still have jobs, and we both received pay raises..both really good things...

I have been able to maintain my weight loss, and then some...I have done really well eating this holiday season......I learned that I can just eat 1 piece of candy and not the whole tray or box...I can measure out my mixed nuts and feel satisfied with an ounce.....I can have some goodies and stop...I don't have to be so stressed with worry about over eating..I need to just be aware..be mindful what goes in my mouth....

I'm going to spend less time on sparkpeople this new year and more on getting out and doing new things, or reading....reading seems to relax me thus it should help me cope with stress and worry....
I plan on being nicer to myself this new year, I'm still going to eat healthy and exercise most days, that's the key to keeping the weight off and feeling good about my self and staying healthy......I'm hoping for a good year....
I'm hoping to go up North and get a at least one walk in with my spark friend Sock...and look around down here for at least 1 walk to join.....
well those are some of my plans.....I'm still thinking and writing things down, I like to look at all my options before hand then go slow and get it all worked out, and fine tune along the way.
last year at this time I was stressing over reaching my goal and regaining the weight but it never happened so I'm going to keep going so 1 year from now I can say I'm still at my goal weight or less...

I wish everyone a Healthy and Happy New Year..
if last year was not your banner year , keep trying this might be your banner year....YOU can make it happen, it's up to you....Don't let anyone or anything get in your way of your health...

HUGS

Kitt

This is a great plan.. we will miss you everyday but I know you will check in with us now and then... I'm so happy for you being able to maintain for a whole year.. I think it takes extended time learning so it becomes a habit and hopefuly the old habits won't creep back in... I will be here learning new things and trying to keep my weight down... After all you lost the weight and learned healthy choices so you can live your life to its fullest... Enjoy your year and I wish you all the best... Ronie
