Counting down to 1/1/11

Follow-through, that's got to be the word for the New Year. Three years ago it was follow-through that got me to my WW goal and I'm counting on the same strategy to get me going, and hopefully keep me going towards goal.

Now that I've kept honest track of my food intake for more than three days, I have to admit I can't believe how much I was eating before! It seems that I'd spiraled into a routine that involved food every hour of every day. I shudder to thing how many calories I shoveled mindlessly as I stood in front of the refrigerator. Eek!

Today could have been much worse. Lunch out at Panera, followed by a dinner of leftovers from yesterday's dinner out. My original plan was to use my leftover quesadilla as my "appetizer," until I realized what this would mean to the total calorie count. Can I just say Eek again.

So, with one more day to countdown I'm working on control issues, at this point if I thought duct tape over the mouth would actually work, I'd be raiding the shop! But, giving myself a little pat on the back, this day could have been so much worse! Hang in there Nell!
