After winter---comes "'Bathing Suit weather""-- Will we be ready?

Friday, January 07, 2011

--just a short blog to tell you that getting back on track feels good---and ever so slowly, the scales are going down-recycled pounds mind you, but--if it weren't for Spark, the pounds would be adding up--- so--thank-you Spark---- thank-you to Spark friends who I depend on to keep me going---To-day it's a cold January day --lots of snow here in the north--but--before long, we will be into Spring--and then summer---so---- if I keep at this, I should get to goal when the weather is nice.

You can do it.. looks like a great incentive. BTW, I've lived in Red Lake, Thunder Bay, Chapleau and Sault Ste. Marie, and now near Toronto. So I know all about those frigid winters, where the wolves howl and the trees crack open from the cold!

Nice blog and nice pics, gf! You keep me in check. :) I am losing slow but sure. Lost 9 of the 16 gain and yes, the right foot lost a lot of the swelling during the night. I'm sleeping so peacefully even though I still have a potty call.

YOU keep up the great work and enthusiasm. I need it! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    You are doing great, LeanJean!

Three steps forward, one step back still keeps you two steps forward.

It's cold and white down here in Minnesota too but it feels so refreshing. Don't you just love the quiet of January after all the holiday hub-bub? Such a great time to get back in the groove and knuckle down with the Spark program.

You have some great streaks going on your home page. Your train aint stoppen for nothin is it? You are sure to reach your goal by summer.

    GOOD FOR YOU!!!!

HI, I to have been thinking bathing suits shorts etc. I started spark last March lost 40 lbs and had surgery so I have been gone but maintained my weight using what I learned from Spark. I wore a 2 piece in Fl. in Oct. for the first time in years. No I didnt look like a model but I felt darn good about myself. Now I am back and I know I can reach my goal weight of 130-140. And I know with Spark you can too emoticon
