Tiny Bubbles....

Thursday, January 13, 2011

I stayed home from work today so I could kick this wicked head/chest cold in the butt. Actually, I was having my very own pity party. Afterall....tomorrow will be a week since I came down with this and I've got a life to live! Kind of hard to do when every movement produces an ineffective cough. So....I had a slumber party....and only the hostess was invited. Oh yeah....and my three dogs. They love slumber parties.

I ate healthy today....albeit, prob not enough. But I wasn't that's good. Normally I eat when I'm bored. Watched my favorite channel, HGTV, got on the computer, watched some more TV, had some soup, dozed.

Man! I've got a lot of work stacking up at work! Not only that, but my house is a mess and I've got company coming Monday! To bend over, lift, push...any movement at all, is rewarded with instant cough. Think I'll recruit DH this weekend. Afterall, there's no yard work to do.

Needless to say, I got sick of my wallowing. I jumped in the tub and took a bubble bath. lease on life! The humidity got things flowing in my nasal passages, my skin is soft and general, I feel MUCH better!

Oprah is on....she's interviewing Dr. Oz about the secrets of successful weight loss. Wonder if he'll mention SparkPeople....

A good hot soak in the tub cures so many things. It's one of my FAVORITE cures. Glad it helped you to rejoin the human race. emoticon Definitely get some help with all your work...and don't stress over it too much. Be good to you! Lotsa fluids and vitamin C (that's what my doctor always says...I'm turning into a mina bird). Spark on! emoticon
