One day in a hundred

Got on the scale this morning and I knew it wouldn't be good. This weekend we visited my son and daughter-in- law in New York City and we pretty much ate every meal out. I tried to be good, but we ate Greek and Italian and it was so good. I knew it wouldn't be a weight loss weekend. On our way home, I made a deal with myself. I would challenge myself to a one hundred day countdown to a better me. It started yesterday and today is day 99.

This morning the scale said 179. No way do I want to be in the '80's again. So thats my starting point. Yesterday and today I have upped my water, and I am back to recording all my calories. I will exercise. I started today with 20 minutes. Not much I know but at least its something. I will build up.

So far so good. I can do this.

    There will be ups and downs on this journey, hon - after all, that's Life. But your focus and determination will stand you in good stead. I like your idea about a 100-day plan, and you are doing well with including the water, nutrition tracking, and exercise.
