A week ago today I started personal training with a trainer at my gym. I have never worked out so hard in my life, and that includes marathon training. I believe his philosophy is cut from the "near tears/screaming-level of pain" style workouts. He also gave me a diet plan which i have "loosely" been following. Today I got on the scale and I lost 3lbs in a week! Booyah!

    Your body probably liked the different workout too! You must have a good trainer. Stick w/it and I'm sure you'll have amazing results!

    Good for you! I guess all trainers are different; what matters is that you are comfortable with whoever you're working with. After all, you're paying him.
