We made it to the gym last night. I jogged/power walked a mile on the elliptical. Our gym has personal TV's on each cardio machine, however I can't figure out how to get the blasted things to work, lol. Ok, I did break down and ask and found out they have energy savers on them so you have to plug your earphones into them to get them to stay on. I'll be trying that out for the next trip to the gym.

I suck at strength training, mainly because I don't know what I'm doing. The friend I am going with is going to be super motivational in this point. Not because she knows what she's doing, but unlike me she has no fear of looking like an idiot while trying to figure out what to do, lol. I'm glad we signed on for a personal trainer because I'm going to have him teach me pretty much everything there is in the gym so I can do what I want when I want. Of course, I also know he's going to teach me how to do a program so I can get the most efficient results from my efforts, but I like to have options.

I'm not sure if I'll get a workout in, but we've now been to the gym 3 days in a row, so if I don't make it tonight it's nothing big. A friend of mine might be coming over to see the girls. I haven't seen her for awhile so it will be nice to see her.

    LOL, I love you Luna! I will follow in your footsteps all the way, and I might argue with kicking under the shelf, but you know I always will in the end, lol.

    Juts b/c I have no shame in looking like an idiot doesn't mean you can't do it, too. Just make sure that if I break something, when I say, "kick it under the shelf," do it! ;) emoticon

    Way to go!!! It is sure a step forward to be going to the gym and to have someone to do it with is a wonderful idea. I wish I had that. Maybe once we get moved I will find someone to do that with too!

    Sparkpeople has several different strength exercises that you can do and it will plan it for you. They are really awesome, you should try them out. emoticon
