Am I Lost or Lazy?

Monday, February 07, 2011

Well, I had the best intentions of working out today but it did not happen. The good news is that I did get quite a bit of homework and studying done, but I cant help but wonder why I am not finding the energy to work out. I have wondered if a grand laziness has taken over me, but usually when I am lazy it is mental as well as physical and I worked my brain like crazy today. I have already done my taxes, I am caught up in school, but my house is a mess and I am not working out. The fact that I am doing my homework leads me to believe that I am not in a funk...I have no idea what it is. I do have a doctor appointment tomorrow to see if I can get my hormones worked out, maybe that is why I cant find any physical energy. I hope that my energy comes back. I miss feeling like I want to go do things. I miss exercising.

Hmmm, maybe we should start being accountability partners. Though, I think you might be in better control of the working out part than I am. And maybe the eating better, too, since you start with a baseline of better habits.

Yeah- it's kind of a vicious circle. You need energy to exercise but you need to exercise to get the energy.

I go through periods like this as well. When it comes back, it comes with a vengeance! You'll be back to it in no time!

You'll get back to it, just remember how good you feel after a hard workout!

I hope you get back in your groove soon! I know it must be frustrating to feel like you are.

    See you tomorrow!

You aren't lazy or you couldn't have done all you did. I think we just expect to much of ourselves. And others expect to much of us. We are only human. Don't beat yourself up, and don't tell yourself you are lazy.
